Unlocking Polybound's website potential and driving a huge increase in sales

Headline Results

The Brief

Polybound had been successfully investing in paid advertising for several years, but with organic search contributing relatively little to their lead generation, the business had become increasingly reliant on paid channels.

They wanted to rebalance their marketing investment, shifting some of their budget towards SEO to build a more sustainable source of leads. The ambition was to turn their website into a valuable commercial asset that could consistently generate organic enquiries, reduce their dependence on paid advertising and support long-term business growth.

Our Approach

Our initial site audit revealed that Polybound already had some strong SEO foundations, including an established backlink profile, but on-site content had never been fully optimised for organic search. This presented an opportunity to make better use of the authority the website had already built and improve its visibility for commercially valuable searches.

We worked closely with the Polybound team to improve product listing pages (PLPs) and product detail pages (PDPs), strengthen internal linking and identify opportunities to improve the site’s technical foundations. With some limitations imposed by the existing CMS, we also helped the team navigate these restrictions and prioritise improvements that would deliver the greatest impact.

Alongside our ongoing SEO activity, we supported the launch of PebbleGlue, ensuring SEO was considered from the outset across both the product launch and its dedicated landing site.

Our strategy included:

PLP optimisation

Updating category page content to target relevant, commercially valuable searches.

PDP improvements

Strengthening product page content to improve search visibility and relevance.

Internal linking strategy

Improving connections between key pages to support discoverability and distribute authority.

PebbleGlue product launch support

Identifying SEO opportunities to support the launch of their new product.

PebbleGlue landing site SEO oversight

Providing SEO guidance for the dedicated landing site to establish strong foundations from launch.

Highlights

Within the first few months of working together, we focused on improving the content across Polybound’s key product listing pages (PLPs) and product detail pages (PDPs), ensuring they delivered a strong user experience while clearly communicating each page’s relevance to Google.

By refining existing content, improving keyword targeting and making better use of the site’s established authority, we were able to unlock some of the organic potential that had previously been overlooked.

These early improvements delivered a significant uplift in organic performance, demonstrating the impact of getting the fundamentals right before investing in more extensive SEO activity.

The Results

Since partnering with Polybound, we’ve delivered significant growth in organic visibility, traffic and revenue, helping turn the website into a stronger commercial asset and reducing its reliance on paid advertising.

Our results include:

1,610 additional organic clicks per month, driving more potential customers to the website through search.

202 additional first-page keyword rankings, including commercially valuable search terms such as:

Resin trowel – Position 1 (150 monthly searches)
Resin bound – Position 7 (900 monthly searches)
Resin bound kit – Position 4 (400 monthly searches)
UV resin kit – Position 7 (400 monthly searches)
Internal resin floors – Position 1 (100 monthly searches)

14x increase in organic revenue, demonstrating the commercial impact of investing in SEO.

These results show how improving existing SEO foundations and prioritising commercially valuable opportunities can help transform organic search into a meaningful revenue channel for the business.
